First, it's inconveniently scheduled in conflict with my birthday.
But second, it's really a great place to go if you want to find out what was happening three years ago. Or if you want to see vendors handing out loads of cheap crap with a carbon footprint that makes me shudder to think about it.
As to the beer with Lauer, come on out to PDX -- it's a great beer drinking town :)
