Disrupting What?
I finally gave in and skimmed through Disrupting Class, and I think you could easily re-write the book completely omitting the concept of "disruptive innovation."
O.k. -- I'll bite... what do you mean? Do you mean that it could all be true without being "disruptive?" If so, is it bad that "disruptive innovation" is the throughline of the text?
Yes... I don't think it is actually describing a "disruptive" innovation. I think it is bad that it is mis-framing the conversation. The kinds of innovation we need in education aren't "disruptive."
