Alternative Certification and Cost Savings

I'd like to remind the universe that the only person or institution that consistently saves money under alternative teacher certification is the teacher themselves. It does not save the public any money; it is not cost-saving public policy.

That is all.

Catching up; fell way behind.

Districts that use lots of alternative certification will have higher turnover, with more teachers at the bottom of the scale.

These will be districts that hold down payroll.

Unfortunate? Absolutely. True?
