Looking at the inBloom Data Ingestion Specification, here are some of the key open source (or not) components of the system:
- Database: MongoDB
- Identity Provider: SimpleIDP (proprietary)
- Directory Service: OpenLDAP
- Distributed Filesystem: GusterFS
- Message Queue: ActiveMQ
- Search: ElasticSearch & Lucene.
- FTP: ProFTPD
- Random bits: Maestro nodes? Pit nodes?
