The Wisconsin Labor Fight: An Attack on Women, Too

Dana Goldstein:

The Wisconsin GOP's war on public sector unions--except those representing police officers, firefighters, and state troopers--is not only a craven attack on the Democratic base, but sexist, too, since predominantly male professions are deliberately protected while female ones are targeted.

I was just saying that to my husband. If busting teacher unions succeeds, it gets rid of a good number of unionized professional women, and most will be workers in SEIU, which is a mixed-bag salary and education-wise.
But then, how else would they be able to order troopers to chase down these recalcitrant Democratice law-makers? Score one for the the barrel of a gun faction over "peaceful" protest, lol.
